Special Thanks to John Bichler, owner of Gallagher Marine Construction

John graciously donated his crane and 90ft x 40ft barge along with dozens of hours of his own time so that this year's fireworks could be even more spectacular than ever.
We'll be posting some photos shortly.

Fireworks Video Clips

Below are two FULL SIZE video clips showcasing a couple
portions of this year's 30 minute long fireworks.

Each .wmv format video clip is a large (over 10mb) file, so a
safe bet is to "Right click" and "Save as" to your hard drive.

Clip #1 is a VERY unique oredock "waterfall" fireworks display.

Clip #2 is the grand finale & the pyrotechs signature "bow to the crowd"

The parade webcams are done until next year, but the
Lower Harbor camera stays up year round. Click here to view.

Our 2009 Parade GRAND MARSHALL is Nheena Weyer-Ittner,

Executive Director of the UP Children's Museum.

Join in on the Celebration!

Marquette 4th of July Parade!

The Marquette Area 4th of July Committee is a 501[c]3 nonprofit organization.
Our group is not connected with, or part of any branch of government.
We are made up entirely of community volunteers who work year round to plan, fundraise and organize the Marquette Area's 4th of July parade and fireworks.

The total cost of our parade and fireworks is well over $30,000 and is funded entirely by donations. (And, to a small extent, parade entry fees). Your help and support are much appreciated.

Thank you to Pride Printing for year after year creating and donating all the buttons, brochures, paper, letterhead and envelopes.
