Saturday, July 3, 2010, 8:00 a.m. starting time, rain or shine. Registration / Start / Finish at Picnic Rocks Park, corner of Lake Shore Blvd. and East Fair Ave., Marquette, Michigan.

Registration 7:15-7:45 a.m. - bring completed lower portion of this form and $10 (exact amount only; only a limited amount of change will be available) to Picnic Rocks event day; includes official Marquette Area 4^th of July button. First 75 entrants also receive 4^th of July bandana for dog. Checks payable to Marquette Area 4^th of July Committee. NOTE: This is a fun run / walk. Only 4 overall Fastest Dogs will receive trophies: 1^st Dog with Human Male, and 1^st Dog with Human Female, in both the 2.5 mile and in 1 mile. (This is not a timed event; please wear a wristwatch to clock your own time.) Also: Dog Costume Contest for entrants at 9:15 a.m. (right after run / walk), with 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place prizes.

NOTES: Dogs must be well-behaved, leashed, & have current shots. Owners must pick up after their dogs at Park and on the course. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs allowed on beach in Picnic Rocks area.

Release from liability: In consideration of my participation in the Marquette Sunrise Dog Dash on July 3, 2010, I hereby release and discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless, the Marquette Area 4^th of July Committee, its officers and agents, as well as other individuals and entities contributing support to this event, from any liability for damage to or loss of personal property, sickness, and/or injury from whatever source, legal entanglements, imprisonment, death, loss of money, etc., which might occur as a result of my participation in the Marquette Sunrise Dog Dash. My participation in this event is strictly voluntary, and I understand that my participation will involve physical exertion and may subject me to physical injury. I hereby state that I, and/or my minor child, am physically able to undertake the activity level required to participate, and I understand that neither the Marquette Area 4^th of July Committee nor any sponsor or supporter of the event provides any medical coverage to any participation in this event. I also allow use of any photo and / or video of me or my minor child taken at the 2010 Marquette Sunrise Dog Dash for publicizing the event.
