Marquette Area Bike Decorating Contest
A Big Event for children ages 1 to 13
Lakeview Arena

NOTE: This year the Children's Museum will be giving away decorating materials and holding an informal work session with tips on "How To", etc., on Tuesday, July 3rd, from Noon to 2pm. Free to all children! Your decorated bikes will be in the parade. Check the map on this website for where you line up.

Wednesday, July 4th, the day of the parade :
Bring your decorated bike, scooter, wagon, or any non-motorized vehicle to the Lakeview Arena to enter the contest.

Registration begins at 9:45 am, rain or shine.  Contest starts at 10am.

Entrance fee is $1  (free if you or your parent are wearing a booster button).

All children who participate receive ribbons, coupons and a chance to win prizes.  (Total value over $500)

2007 Button Not Available Yet

The buttons will be available at Edward Jones office on Lakeshore Blvd, Thill's Fish House at the Lower Harbor, and the American Legion on Bluff St for a minimum contribution of $1.00.
